Show report by Lynne Walker…
We arrived on the Friday around midday and with the help of Gray and Bev we set up the clubs new gazebo. After the club stand was set up we sat back and relaxed (i.e. cracked open the alcohol, he, he, he!!!).
As for the show itself, well there were lots of lovely VW’s and the usual traders, plus an auto-jumble. They had two bands playing on the Friday and Saturday, ‘The Throwbacks’ and ‘Doctors Orders’. We heard The Throwbacks and they seemed pretty good, can’t say much about the other band as we did not hear them playing.
We had a small display on the club stand but there were plenty of the clubs members scattered around in the different camping areas.
On the Saturday night Scott gave us a brief display of fire staff twirling and he did not set fire to himself or any tents so that was a result.
Not much else to say about this show other than it’s a show that’s laidback and enjoyable. The weather was not that bad, it only rained on the Saturday night. I hope those that went to this show enjoyed it.
