volksworld vw show 2009
We arrived of Friday afternoon ready to set up our club stand. The show was manic, with cars getting ready to go inside, and other clubs trying to organise their club stands amongst the traders' vans parked everywhere. You can only imagine the chaos! We soon became bored and headed off towards the camping field. We set up our plots and prepared to relax...
The vehicle had to be in place by around 8.30am Saturday morning. Once set up we explored the show, taking advantag of being able to walk around before it opened and the crowds flooded in.
Sunday followed with a few mishaps. Three of our five vehicles didn't make the show in time the next day. With only Carl's Beetle and Stuart's Bay, Brian's Bay had to be subbed in last minute!
This is a great show, although it was still a little cold for camping.
