ABOUT THE CLUB
The Essex Vee Dubbers VW Club was formed in April 1992 and meets normally at Classic car shows, charity shows and of course Volkswagen events. We also have winter meets at various locations (inc pubs) in Essex.
At shows, club members usually display their vehicles and some win prizes and awards for having the best vehicle there. Others just come to enjoy the shows. Camping is also available at most shows.
Your Volkswagen need not be in concours condition, but it must be road legal to be on the club stand.
As a club, we can offer members agreed discounts at many VW outlets and also other discounts such as ferry crossings.
We have a special negotiated insurance scheme that has been arranged by the 'Association of British Volkswagen Clubs' and a vehicle valuation service that is available to all club members. We also have a list of recommended repairers and approved parts dealers.
As a member you will receive passes for shows, a club sticker, a membership pack and bi-monthly newsletters which feature show reports, members adverts and vehicles for sale. All members advertisements are free.
